Our Work

Our Vision:
To protect and enhance the Waimate North environment while fostering community involvement and connection.

Our Mission:
We’re a community team restoring habitats, protecting historic landscapes, and nurturing the plants and wildlife that make our environment thrive.

We run a small native tree nursery where we grow-on native seedlings for use in regenerative projects and to sell to the local community as a fundraiser for the trust.
We are grateful to locals who have provided us with seedlings. If you wish to supply seedlings please contact the Trust.
We provide plants for various local projects throughout the year.
A useful book is available to select trees and their attributes which can be viewed at the link below.
